Dear Students,
Arunachal University of Studies is going to conduct a “Special Training Programme” of 10 days duration beginning from the 20th June to 30th June 2018 in the following subjects.

1. Basic Pali Language.
2. Basic Teachings of the Buddha.
3. Basic English Grammar.

Eligibility: Minimum Class 10 Passout
Time:- 2.30 p.m to 4.00 p.m.
Date of registration:- 16, 18 and 19 June.
Registration fee:- only Rs. 20/
Certificates of participation will be offered at the end of the training.

Convocation of the 13 students enrolled in the Certificate Course in Pali Language

Convocation of the 13 students enrolled in the Certificate Course in Pali Language of AUS held on June 09, 2018 under the able guidance of AUS Prof. Ven. Prof Bhikshu Pannyasara. Namsai MLA Chou Zingnu Namchoom & his wife Mrs. Sujata Namchoom sponsored all the students enrolled in the course. The Department of Buddhist Studies was established in the University in 2017 by the keen desire of Dy. Chief Minister Sh. Chowna Mein Ji for the preservance of the Ancient Pali languages & educate the youth of the state at large. AUS sponsoring body “World Education Mission” President Dr. Ashwani Lochan has approved “The Lachit Borphukan Scholarship Scheme” for all the students who want to pursue NCTE approved D.EL.ED. Programme with major in Pali & Buddhist Studies.

Good News for AUSRISERS, MoU signed between AUS & RELIANCE JIO for 4G Internet services in the campus. All AUS staff & students will get free 1 GB data every month along with uninterrupted voice & data connectivity.
A tower & Fibre optics will be installed in the Knowledge city campus. AUS Registrar Mr. Divyanshu Goel & Reliance GIO Vice President Mr. Balasubramniam Iyer has signed the Agreement in the presence of AUS M.D. Mr. Vishva Lochan, Vice Chancellor Prof. V.K. Kawatra along with senior officials of AUS & Reliance.

 

“Need and opportunities in scientific research” on 23 March 2018.

Retired Senior Scientist Dr. Ravikant Altekar of Babha Atomic Research Center interacted with the students at the University Seminar Hall on the topic “Need and opportunities in scientific research” on 23 March 2018.
Around 150 students were present. The students expressed their happiness and were overwhelmed with the interesting presentation by Dr. Ravikant Altekar.
