India has more than 50% of its population below the age of 25 and more than 65 % below the age of 35. It is expected that, in 2020, the average age of an Indian will be 29 years , compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan. This is the most critical decade for the country in its journey from developing nation to a developed nation.

The objective of AUS is to convert this demographic opportunity into a demographic dividend. We are moving forward with a mission & vision of building strong nation on the base of strong value system and quality education.

AUS provides a platform for Research & Development for application in government / private organizations for betterment of society. AUS offer courses in Agriculture, Arts, Science, Languages, Commerce, Law, Management, Education, Music, Fine Arts and Engineering.

The last five years have seen the institution grow steadily to its current stature and today it boasts one of the largest enrollments of graduate students in conventional courses in the North-East. We are working tirelessly on building state of the art infrastructure and a reputed faculty to reach our goal of becoming one of the best universities of the country and in the world.
