A Bachelor of Science (Hons. - Zoology) is an undergraduate academic degree program focused on the study of animal biology and behavior. The Arunachal University of Studies is offering this programme in dual mode i.e. B.Sc. (Hons. - Zoology) & B.Sc. (Hons. Research - Zoology). This degree program typically takes four years to complete and is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the biological and ecological principles that govern animal life. The Students of this Programme will be eligible for pursuing 1 Year Master of Science (Zoology) programme from the University. Also, the students who will score more than 75% or equivalent grade in programme will be eligible for pursuing Ph.D. programme directly without Masters Degree

In this program, students typically study a wide range of topics related to animal biology, such as animal behavior, physiology, genetics, ecology, and evolution. They may also have the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of zoology, such as marine biology, ornithology, herpetology, or mammalogy.

Some of the key skills that students can develop during a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Zoology include laboratory and field research skills, data analysis and interpretation skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and written and oral communication skills.

Graduates of this program can pursue various career opportunities in areas such as research and development, environmental conservation, wildlife management, science communication, and education. They may also choose to pursue further education in graduate or professional programs, such as veterinary medicine, ecology, or zoology.

The Candidates willing to exit Bachelor of Science (Hons. - Zoology) programme after three years may apply for B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry) Degree from the University. It is an undergraduate academic degree programme that combines the study of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. This degree program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in these three fundamental sciences.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry is an undergraduate academic degree program that combines the study of animal biology, plant biology, and chemistry. This program typically takes four years to complete and provides students with a broad understanding of the biological and chemical principles that govern living organisms.

In this program, students study a range of topics related to animal and plant biology, including anatomy, physiology, ecology, genetics, evolution, plant growth and development, and plant-animal interactions. They also study chemistry, including organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.

Students who pursue this degree program can develop skills in laboratory techniques, data analysis, scientific writing, and critical thinking. They can also develop a deep understanding of the scientific method and the principles of scientific inquiry.

Graduates of this program can pursue various career opportunities, including research and development, environmental science and conservation, science communication, and education. They may also choose to pursue further education in graduate or professional programs, such as medicine, pharmacy, ecology, or plant and animal science.
