Stipend: The candidate under Board of Practical Training, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, Department of Higher Education will be paid monthly stipend of Rs. 3,542/- per month (minimum for 3 months every year) by the University in case the same is not provided or by the industry. The industries are required to maintain minimum wages norms for paying stipend to the candidate minimum for 3 months every year or for the duration of actual OJT/ Apprenticeship/ Internship.
Bachelor of Arts – Hons. (Hospitality Management) is a specialized Programme designed as per the growing demands of the modern Hospitality Industry. The Hospitality Management is the industry within the service industries that includes lodging, food and drinking services, event planning, consign practice, transportation, cross lane, travel additional field within the tourism industry. The term “hospitality” is defined as the guest-host relationship in which the host applied certain management principles and structured leadership on guests with a proper gesture including food, accommodation, lodging, dining, entertainment, and many more.
The Hospitality Management and Hotel Management are the branches of the same discipline of study. Hotel Management is restricted to managing the operations of lodging-related establishments, while Hospitality Management encompasses industries such as hotel and conference management, sales, business development, tourism events, etc. The degree of Hospitality Management can provide good start and success in the career of the Hospitality Industry in comparison to the degree of hotel management because hospitality management is able to find a different kind of job roles. Fee reimbursement upto ₹ 30,000/- for candidates having family income less than ₹ 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) per annum under schemes offered by Central Govt./ State Govt. or World Education Mission subject to compliance of prescribed terms and conditions. Fee reimbursement upto ₹ 50,000/- for APST candidates having family income less than ₹ 2,50,000/- (Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand) per annum under schemes offered by Central Govt./ State Govt. subject to compliance of prescribed terms and conditions. |
