The programme is approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). On completion of programme the candidate are eligible for registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

The education system is vast. The more we learn, the more we crave to find and this is why the master’s special education program has been designed for. The course is meant to build up the required knowledge and skills to the hearing-impaired people who have already acquired enough knowledge through their Bachelor’s program. The program has been designed do bring in deeper perspective through advanced training and its aspect which are all connected with the children who suffer from the loss of hearing.
For the students who enrol, they are taught along with the ways and techniques which they have to follow and to keep down the negative points while they actively try to be a part of the learning process. From working on skills to learning how to communicate with each other and the general people out there, varied skills are imparted to the students.
Scientific techniques, well, for same, there is one separate Laboratory at every campus. These laboratories are better equipped with all the facilities which one might need to learn the Sign languages, better use of the subtitles and lip readings, etc. Apart from the same, there is also learning provided concerning varied devices and the hearing aids which help in hearing.
A lot of approaches to deal with the different degrees of impaired children are to one too. Either way, every single special educator works hard. They are a medium to provide all those hearing aided children a better life and a means to aid through their hearing abilities on every step of the learning process. For all those students who are suffering from the loss of hearing are aimed to be addressed through the M.Ed.-HI special education course.
Be it one ear or both ear hearing loss, it is an impairment for the children and affects them and their ability to develop skills to express. It starts with the measurement of these hearing losses and checking through, whether it is mild, moderate or severe. Once measured, the day to the day learning process is imparted according to the same in the field of academics and daily errands. It also keeps an even over the socializing process of these children and assures betterment by coping with their disadvantages. M.Ed.-HI course understands that hearing-impaired students undergo a lot and thus is meant to endeavour the special educators in the way to deem fit for their future.
New methods related to teaching, educational research considering the dissertation and the field engagement, all are dealt with within the study. M.Ed.-HI program is one means to focus on varied aspects of education while keeping an eye over the curriculum, leadership, instruction giving, counselling, educational technology, etc. By every means, it is a way to brush up the knowledge of educational research methodology of the students enrolled and making them well-acquainted with the teaching and educational, psychological aspects.
