The programme is approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). On completion of programme the candidate are eligible for registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Master of Education- [Special Education. Visual Impairment.] {M.Ed.-VI} is an advanced level course offered for the students who want to receive better knowledge and skills on the specially designed Visually Impaired bachelor’s programme. It helps delve better and deeper training and its aspects for helping the children who suffer from loss of vision. Better ways, methods, techniques, everything which can help a visually impaired student towards cutting down the one disadvantage and get involved in the learning process actively is made sure to be provided within this program.

All those students enrolled; they get to develop by working on their skills. The program is like an effective means to help the visually impaired children get stronger for producing effective results, not just for themselves but within the environment and society they live in.

Laboratories, they are a fine means to develop scientific techniques. It has been provided in all the campuses to make sure that the students get well-acquainted with the facilities provided for learning, Cane stick, Taylor Frame, Braille, Core curriculum instructions, and any kind of modifications which come along with the special education policies, Nemeth code or any kind of changes in the special education policies and law, special education assessments, eye anatomy and the related diseases, reading, expanded core curriculum, assistive technology, etc, for everything connected to the visually impaired children.

Eligibility
To pursue a degree in M.Ed. Spl Education a candidate should hold a Bachelor of Education (HI) with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PW/OBC) or equivalent



Financial Assistance :-

Fee reimbursement upto ₹ 30,000/- for candidates having family income less than ₹ 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) per annum under schemes offered by Central Govt./ State Govt.  or World Education Mission subject to compliance of prescribed terms and conditions.
