Job Mela Organized at University Campus

First time in the History of Namsai, District the Job fair cum skill development awareness camp & Training selection rally was organize at main Campus of Arunachal University of Studies by the Industries Department in Association with District Administration. This job fair has given opportunity to more than 350 Unemployment Youth and Job seekers to appear before the Interview Panel by Ten reputed Organizations, who came from the different parts of the country. The job fair was focused on providing employment opportunities to less skilled people like Driver, Mechanic, Security Guard, Banking and Accounting, Tally Operator, Travel and Tourism, Electrician, Computer Operator, Earth Mover Operator, Beautician, Information Technology, Hospital Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Tailor, etc. The candidates were also informed about their short-comings and area of improvement by the expert HR’s of the Companies. The function was inaugurated by chief guest Shri R.K. Sharma, D.C. Namsai and Guest of Honor Prof. Vijay Laxmi Pandit, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University. The welcome address of inaugural session was delivered by Shri B. R. Dey, A. D. I. Namsai and brief about purpose of organizing the event to gathering. Chief guest Shri. R.K. Sharma appealed to the youth to avail the opportunity make available under CM’s Flagship programme to create One lac skilled men power during twelve 5th year plan. Prof. Vijay Laxmi Pandit requested in her speech to the Government to create more jobs in Agriculture, Horticulture and Veterinary related sectors for the better future of the students and she also emphasis on the Entrepreneurship Development in the State. This type of job fairs are very essential for the awareness of job seekers and unemployed youth and conduct of such programmes on repeated bases will really help the State to provide employment opportunities and expend Entrepreneurship Culture.
