Arunachal University of Studies’ University-Industry Inter-Linkage Centre signs Memorandum of Understanding with National Productivity Council (NPC)

June 28, 2021, Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, India: Memorandum of Understanding was signed between National Productivity Council (NPC), New Delhi and University-Industry Inter-Linkage Centre (UILC-AUS), Faculty of Skill Development & Vocational Studies, Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh on 23rd June 2021 at New Delhi.

The aim of this MoU is to jointly organize and promote certain Training programs across India regularly. The MoU also states to collaborate to organize professional events and promote each other in their areas of suitable operations. Additionally, UILC-AUS will also promote stand-alone NPC Training programs to its students and faculty by displaying the Marketing Materials provided by NPC in prominent places within the UILC-AUS Office premises.

Both the parties aim to deliver quality training with a certificate for the promotion of industry & internal trade in the field of Industrial Engineering, Agri-Business, Economic Services, Quality Management, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Technology Management, Energy Management, Environmental Management, and others.

The MoU was signed between Dr Ashwani Lochan, Chairman Arunachal University of Studies and Shri Arun Kumar Jha, Director General, National Productivity Council in the presence of Prof B Mohan Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, AUS, Yadu Kr. Yadav (Asst. Director), NPC & Aman Gulati (Deputy Director), NPC, Kunwar Shekar Vijender, Chancellor Shobit University, Mr. Umashankar Prasad, Director & Project Head, Mr Divyanshu Goel, Registrar AUS, Mr Himanshu Panchal, Joint Registrar, AUS, Mr Yasvardhan Agnihotri, Director SDVS, and Prof. Rani Jha, Coordinator, UILC. 

Mr Arun Kumar Jha, Director General, NPC quoted - "This is an exciting collaboration to step into. Arunachal University of Studies has always been an enthusiast about bringing out the best educational infrastructure for the region of Arunachal Pradesh and NCP is very much excited about being a part of this noble cause." 

President, Dr. Ashwani Lochan quotes – “This is one of the most anticipated MoU that UILC has signed so far. This paving the way for our unique mission to empower the students of Arunachal Pradesh for an enhanced livelihood. Also, AUS in collaboration with the NPC has entered the second week of the 30 day SAKSHAM 4.0 Virtual Internship. This speedy success of AUS is proof that we are getting closer to our noble vision. ” 

Also, the National Productivity Council in collaboration with Arunachal University of Studies had organized a 30 days virtual internship through NPC's online e-learning platform. Arunachal University of Studies has been allotted 313 seats to conduct the internship in various fields. Yashvardhan Agnihotri, Director of Skill Development stated - "Arunachal University of Studies despite the global scenario of the pandemic has been actively participating in creating, stimulating, and promoting employability and productivity consciousness to the students from all around the NER. Programmes in collaboration with government agencies only facilitate strengthening the regional and local sector productivity-wise. We are always excited and thrilled to able to engage in such implementation". Joint Registrar Himanshu Panchal stated - "AUS has always been focused on employability through a sustainable method of skill development programmes in all shades of the economy. We are very honoured to have been collaborated with NPC for this holistic venture which is not just inclusive to the Economic, but also is socially and environmentally despite the ongoing pandemic." This one of a kind internship covers the topics that are in high demand of employability such as - Advanced Manufacturing Systems and its applications, Achieving Manufacturing Excellence viz. Lean/MFCA etc., Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Industrial Processes & Industry 4.0 and other Research works.
