Sensitization Programme on “Entrepreneurship Pedagogy” for Students of AUS, Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh” organized @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav
The a-IDEA, Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized the Sensitization Programme on “Entrepreneurship Pedagogy” in Agriculture and Allied sectors for the students of Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), Namsai to encourage and motivate them towards
Entrepreneurship today.
The Chief Guest, Dr. B. Mohan Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh urged that there should be a shift from the Course to Career and students should become job providers rather than job seekers.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad underlined the importance of branding the region-specific organic commodities in Agri-preneurship. The need of forming the Farmers’ Producers’ Companies and Farmers’ Producers’ Organizations in the country was also stressed by Dr. Rao.
Dr. N.A. Vijay Avinashilingam, Additional C.E.O., a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted the need for a Start-Up Ecosystem in the country.
Shri Susanth Masana, C.E.O. & Manufacturing Lead, Farmsathi and an Entrepreneur in Robotics Tech Company also shared his experiences of turning his idea into a successful Start-Up.
The programme organized as a part of “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence registered participation by about 77 Students and Faculty Members of ICAR-NAARM & AUS, Namsai.
