The International Wheelchair Day was observed at Arunachal University of Studies Campus on 1st March, 2023, organized by Department of Special Education, AUS. Ms Mausumi Palei, HoD, Department of Special Education, AUS, gave the welcome speech followed by the speech of the Chief Guest, Prof. D. S. Hernwall, Vice-Chancellor, AUS. In his speech he said that physical disability can be overcome if someone is mentally strong. He also said that AUS, time to time has always came forward to help the specially abled peoples by holding various campaigns on hearing aid distribution and others.
