A 15-day training programme on ‘Bakery Products’ started today at Arunachal University of Studies. The training is a part of the Micro-entrepreneurship Development Programme implemented by World Education Mission and sponsored by NABARD. Shri Vipin Rawat, Assistant Registrar, AUS welcomed the audience and highlighted the significance of the micro entrepreneurship in social upliftment. Shri H.N. Dubey, Director (PR), AUS appreciated the participants for showing interest in the programme. Shri Kamal Roy, DDM, NABARD, synthesized the audience about the need of skill development programme and micro entrepreneurial activities on this occasion. He also enlightened the participants about several other initiatives taken by NABARD. Ms. Shamla Shukoor, Senior Mentor, Kudumbashree NRO (National Resource Organization) of ArSRLM, and Ms. Bullo Umpi, Block Co-ordinator, Non-Farm, ArSRLM, also put forward their thoughts. The program came to an end with a vote of thanks by Zeeshan Khan, Co-ordinator, UILC, AUS.
