Namsai, 29th January, 2024: An Industry-Academia Interactive Session based on the theme of ‘Beat the Fear’ was organized by Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai in collaboration with National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) on 29th January, 2024. Dr. Shyamal Baruah, Chief General Manager, HR Acquisitions, Oil India Limited, was the keynote speaker along with two other dignitaries ─ Dr. Pranjal Bezbaruah, Chairman, NIPM, Assam Chapter, and Shri Jayanta Kumar
Baruah, Chief Manager, HR, Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd. (BCPL). Prof. D. S. Herwal, Vice-Chancellor, AUS, and other staff members from different departments of the university were also present on the occasion.
Shri Jaynata Kumar Baruah began his speech with a remark by his Holiness Dalai Lama, “The purpose of our lives is to be happy”. He spoke on the awareness of implementation of the 5S including Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in human life. The Chief General Manager Dr. Shyamal Baruah began his power-point presentation by quoting Benjamin Franklin, “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail”. Dr. Baruah also illustrated the word, “Fear” in different ways likely for losers it means Forget Everything And Run while for the winners the same word means Face Everything And Rise. He also stressed on the personality development including body language, confidence, posture and self-esteem. Guest of Honor on this occasion Dr. Pranjal Bezbaruah, advised the participants to give up fear immediately to fulfill their dreams to become successful in life. The program came to an end with vote of thanks by Zeeshan Ahmed Khan, Training and Placement Officer, AUS.
