Arunachal University of Studies Job Fair – 2024 took place at the university campus on 27th February, 2024 which was attended by ~300 job aspirants. A total number of 14 companies joined this placement drive to recruit deserving candidates. The recruiters were Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co Ltd, 3B Semiconductor Private Limited, Talent Acquaintance, NSDC International, X5 Agrotech Pvt. Ltd, Katyayani Krishi Seva, Kotak Life Insurance, Shiksha - The Gurukul, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., BSL Group of Companies, ITM Skills Academy, Skillwinner and My LinguaLines Private Limited. In this year’s edition of the Job Fair, an international recruitment agency, Alfa Alfa Manpower Consultancy LLP from Riyadh, Suadi Arabia, also participated and shortlisted 28 students. Likewise, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance shortlisted 18 students, Reliance Jio Infocomm shortlisted 15 students, and MyLingualines offered placement to 12 students. In total, 150 job aspirants got placement offers from various recruiters.

Mr. Vipin Rawat, Deputy Registrar, AUS, gave the welcome speech. Mr. Rawat, in his short address said that “Placement is not given, it is to be earned; every opportunity should be considered seriously as the last opportunity”. Rawat also said, Dr. Ashwani Lochan, the Honorable Chairman, AUS, dreams that each and every student should be a success story. Prof. D. S. Hernwal, Vice-Chancellor, AUS, in his short message conveyed his best wishes to the participants. Following the felicitation of the dignitaries by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of the university, the brief self-introductory session of the companies by their respective representatives took place. Deans, Directors, HoDs, and faculty members from various departments were also present on the occasion. The whole program was hosted by Mr. Zeeshan A. Khan, Placement officer, AUS.
