As per National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC becomes a part of the Institution's system and works towards realisation of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance.

The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the Institution.

AUS was accredited by NAAC in 2019 (first cycle) and the second cycle is due in 2024. IQAC established at AUS continued to strive for the betterment of processes and setup.

Taking the concrete step further, The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established for monitoring the quality parameters in Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai, AP. The Composition of IQAC members is as per the recommendations given by National Assessment Accreditation Committee.
