Arunachal University of Studies is one of the very few Universities in India which are offering a Diploma (Agriculture) Programme. The programme is dedicated to agriculture studies through a scientific way.

Nearly 70% of the Indian population is dependent upon agriculture which evolved over a long period with the requirement of more manual labor. This is the time when we need to incorporate adequate technologies for the betterment of people/ farmers dependent upon agriculture.

Advance technologies of agriculture and allied subjects offer great improvement in traditional agriculture practices. Modern agriculture is based upon agriculture machinery, fertilizers, pesticides and microbiological practices for improving agriculture productivity.

Diploma (Agriculture) course focuses on modern agriculture studies, it also includes studies of machinery, sheets, chemicals, etc. for improves productivity. The course also deals with agriculture and areas such as horticulture, poultry farming, and metrology, etc.

The Diploma (Agriculture) programme is duly approved by u/s 8(C) of Arunachal University of Studies Act 2012 (No. 9 of 2012).
