  • One candidate can apply for only one Scholarship.
  • The  Grant of Scholarship is subjected to be approved from granting agency. The university will not be responsible for the refusal of Scholarship

Rules Related to Stipend/Scholarship/ Sponsorship

The University Students are eligible for applying Stipend/ Scholarship/ Sponsorship offered by Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and Govt. of India. The students can apply only one Stipend/ Scholarship/ Sponsorship at a time. The Students applying for various Stipend/Scholarship/ Sponsorship are requested to approach concerned issuing agency for the grant of same. The University Management will not entertain any query in this regard. The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has issued the following conditions for the grant Stipend/Scholarship/ Sponsorship vide No. ED/HE-STP/132/2014-15 dated 22/03/2017:

  • The Stipend/ Scholarship/ Sponsorship is granted on satisfactory progress, regular attendance in the classes and good conduct of the Student. The Students are found guilty of misconduct/ participate in strike/ irregularity in attendance/ commit any major offense/ break of college or hostel discipline will not be eligible for Stipend/ Scholarship/ Sponsorship.

APST Stipend Programme:

APST Stipend scheme is to provide financial assistance to the schedule tribe students of Arunachal Pradesh. So, as enable them to pursue various courses of Higher Education approved by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh subjected to the following conditions vide No. ED/HE-STP/132/2014-15 dated 22/03/2017 Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Directorate of Higher & Technical Education:

  • Pre-Requisites for the grant of Stipend: Satisfactory Progress, Regular Attendance and Good Conduct are the mandatory pre-requisites for the grant of stipend.
  • The Stipends will not be issued to the Students: who found guilty of misconduct/ participate in strike/ irregularity in attendance/commit offenses/ break of college and hostel discipline.

Note: – Stipend is issued by Directorate of Higher & Technical Education Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The University Management will not entertain the queries related to irregularities or non-receipt of Stipend under any circumstances.

Post Matric Scholarship Programme:

The Post Matric Scholarship programme is Centrally Sponsored scheme implemented by State Government and Union Territory Administrations.

100% Central assistance over and above the committed liability of the States Governments/ UTs Admn. From the Government of India.

The State Government and UT to which the applicant belongs awards the scholarship.

Eligibility:

  • Scholarships are paid to students whose parents’/ guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum.
  • The scholarships are available for the study of all recognized post matriculation or post-secondary courses in recognized institutions except certain identified training courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses, Private Pilot License courses, etc.
  • The scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other scholarship/ stipend.

Note: – Post Matric Scholarship is issued by the Govt. Of India through Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The University Management will not entertain the queries related to irregularities or non-receipt of Post Matric Scholarship under any circumstances.

Chancellor Meritorious Scholarship

Chancellor Meritorious Scholarship is dedicated to the students, who wish to pursue Higher Education from Arunachal University of Studies and scored 93% marks or more in Sr. Secondary Examination OR 85% marks or more in Graduation will be eligible for 100% reimbursement on tuition fee from World Education Mission on all University courses.

The Candidates are required to submit duly filled in application to the office of World Education Mission by June 30, 2019, duly recommended by the Vice-Chancellor. The Merit list will be declared by July 15, 2019. It will be mandatory for the Candidate to maintain 80% attendance and 60% marks in the first year of the above programmes for the continuation of Scholarship into the second year and so on.

Gautam Buddha Scholarship for Post-Graduation Programme 
Gautam Buddha Scholarship for Post-Graduation Programme is applicable for the students belonging to the financially weaker section of society or Graduate from Arunachal University who wish to pursue Post Graduation from the University in the following disciplines:

Master of Social Work 2 Years 7,000/- (Per Year)
Master of Arts (Hindi/English/History/Political Science/Geography/Sociology/Economics/Psychology)

Lachit Borphukan Scholarship 

Lachit Borphukan Scholarship for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)(Tai Khamti language script) Programme is dedicated to the students of Arunachal University of Studies, Faculty of Education students who wish to pursue Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (Tai Khamti language script) from Arunachal University of Studies in Academic Session 2019-20. The World Education Mission will provide Scholarship 50% of the tuition fee to the students.

The Candidates are required to submit duly filled in application to the office of World Education Mission by 30 June 2019 duly recommended by the Vice-Chancellor. The Merit list will be declared by July 15, 2019. It will be mandatory for the Candidate to maintain 80% attendance and 60% marks in the first year of D.El.Ed. programme for continuation of Scholarship into the second year

Shri Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar Scholarship for the following programmes is dedicated to the students of Arunachal University of Studies, Faculty of Education students who wish to pursue following programmes from Arunachal University of Studies in Academic Session 2019-20:

Nang Iksha Mein Scholarship

Nang Iksha Mein Scholarship Programme is dedicated to the students, who wish to pursue Higher Education from Arunachal University of Studies for the B.A., B.A. – L.L.B., L.L.B., B.Com., M.Com., BBA, MBA, and Diploma (Pali Language). The details are as follows:

  • 25% Scholarship (Fee Reimbursement) on Tuition Fee from World Education Mission
  • 50% Scholarship (Fee Reimbursement) on Tuition Fee in case percentage in the qualifying examination is more than 60%
  • Limited seats are available, refer the University prospectus, the scholarship is available on first come first base.

Prof. G.N. Pandey Science Scholarship Programme

Prof. G.N. Pandey Science Scholarship programme is dedicated to the students who wish to pursue Science Education after class 10th or 12th in Arunachal University of Studies as per the following :

  • CGPA 9 or 90% or above in Class 10th/ 12th                            : 30% Scholarship in Tuition Fee
  • CGPA 8 or 80% or above in Class 10th/ 12th                            : 25% Scholarship in Tuition Fee
  • CGPA 7 or 70% or above in Class 10th/ 12th                            : 20% Scholarship in Tuition Fee
  • CGPA 6 or 60% or above in Class 10th/ 12th                            : 15% Scholarship in Tuition Fee
  • The Students opting Science Course after 10th                         : 10% Scholarship in Tuition Fee

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Scholarship for Legal Studies is dedicated to the students of Arunachal University of Studies, Faculty of Legal Studies who wish to pursue the following programmes from Arunachal University of Studies in Academic Session 2019-20. The World Education Mission will provide Scholarship to the students as follows:

Smt. Geeta Lochan Girl Child Scholarship Programme

Smt. Geeta Lochan Girl Child Scholarship programme is dedicated to the 11-meritorious girl child belonging to the financially weaker section of society who wish to pursue Higher Education in Arunachal University of Studies for selected programmes. The Candidates are required to submit duly filled in application to the office of World Education Mission by June 30, 2019. The Merit list will be declared on July 15, 2019. The World Education Mission will sponsor up to 100% of the tuition fee in accordance with the merit of the case.
